The Strategic Supplier Relationship Group (ssrg-uk.org) has now launched it's non-profit organization with the backing of 10 companies in the UK. They describe themselves:
SSRG is a non-commercial organization created and run by the professional IT bodies shown below specifically to add value to the IT customer/supplier relationship.
Rita's previous blog entry had articles and stories about this new effort. All members of the 10 founding organizaitons are automatically members of the SSRG, an interesting approach. Thier kickoff event had three speakers. I hope they find ways to provide significant value to their members. I don't see much detail on plans for how they will accomplish this, but I will be keeping an eye out. I wish them well.
